Privacy policy

What we collect when you ask us to look at a case, why we need it, who else ends up seeing it, and how to get it deleted.

Draft, pending legal review

This is a draft. It describes how the site and this service actually work, but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Please do not rely on it as a final statement of your rights. If anything here matters to your case, ask us on WhatsApp and we will answer plainly.

Who we are

Loyal Couriers coordinates the collection and return of items that a venue in Türkiye has already confirmed it is holding. We are an independent service. We are not an airport, an airline, a hotel, a booking platform, an official lost-property authority, or the carrier that makes the final delivery.

The organisation responsible for the personal data described on this page is Loyal Travel Ticaret Turizm Lojistik Ltd. Şti., registered at Yenigün Mah. Mevlana Cad. Midtown Plaza B Blok No:54/B D:203, Muratpaşa, Antalya, Türkiye. Our Istanbul operations office is at Rami Cuma Mah. 37/5, Eyüpsultan, Istanbul.

Loyal Couriers is the trading name this service operates under. You can reach us on WhatsApp using the number shown throughout this site, or by email at support@loyalcouriers.com.

What we collect, and only what we collect

Everything below comes from the case review form. There is no other form on this site, and we do not buy or import personal data from anywhere else.

  • Your name.
  • Your phone number and email address, if you choose to give them. Both are optional, and we ask for them so we can reach you if the WhatsApp step does not work.
  • Whether the venue has confirmed it is holding your item.
  • A description of the item.
  • Which venue is holding it, and where that venue is.
  • When you left the item, in your own words.
  • Any reference number the venue gave you.
  • Where the item should be returned to.
  • Any notes you add yourself.

We do not ask for identity documents, passport numbers, card numbers or bank details on this form, and you should not send them through it.

Why we need it

To read your case and tell you honestly whether we can help. To check the details with the venue holding your item. To arrange collection and the return. And to contact you if the WhatsApp handoff does not complete — which is the reason we store your answers before sending you to WhatsApp rather than after.

We do not use your details for marketing, we do not build a profile from them, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

The basis we rely on

You give us these details in order to ask for a service, and we use them to take steps at your request. Where a case proceeds, we also rely on our legitimate interest in keeping an accurate record of what was agreed and what was collected.

The precise legal basis, and which law governs it, is one of the points still to be confirmed with our legal adviser.

Pending legal review.

Who else sees it

Only the people and organisations that have to, and only the parts they need:

  • The venue holding your item — normally the item description and any reference number, so they can identify it and authorise release to a courier.
  • The courier attending the collection point, and the carrier making the return, including the delivery address you give us.
  • WhatsApp. When you continue the conversation there, the message and everything in it is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms, not ours. We do not control what WhatsApp does with it.
  • Our hosting provider, which stores the site's database on our behalf and does not use the data for its own purposes.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

We have not settled on a retention period yet, and we would rather say so than publish a number we do not follow. Today, case review requests remain in our admin system until they are deleted by hand.

You can ask us to delete yours at any time, and we will. Where a case actually went ahead, we may need to keep a minimal record of the transaction for as long as the law requires.

A defined retention period is pending. It will be published here once it is set.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you.
  • Give you a copy of it.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete it.
  • Stop using it, or restrict what we do with it.

Ask on WhatsApp, or email support@loyalcouriers.com, and we will act on it. If you are not satisfied with how we respond, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Cookies and tracking on this site

This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no third-party tracking scripts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

The only cookie we set is a sign-in cookie for our own staff in the admin area. If you are a visitor, you never receive it. The cookie policy explains it in full.

Keeping it safe

Your request is stored in a database only our signed-in staff can reach. Accounts are individual, staff passwords are stored hashed rather than in readable form, and sign-in attempts are rate-limited.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

Changes to this policy

When this page changes materially we will say so here rather than change it quietly. This draft was written on 6 September 2026.

Details still to be supplied

These pages name no company, address or written contact channel, because none has been supplied. Rather than invent them, the gaps are listed here so they are visible to you and to whoever reviews this page.

  • The company's tax or trade registry number. The brand document names the entity and its address, but not its registration number.
  • A decided retention period for case review requests.
  • Confirmation of which data protection law the business is registering under, and whether a representative is required for visitors in other countries.
  • Confirmation that the support@loyalcouriers.com mailbox is live and monitored. The address is published; the owner is setting it up.

This section comes out once the details are filled in.
