UK lost and found: getting your item back from Türkiye
Left something at an airport, on a flight or in a hotel in Türkiye and already home in the United Kingdom? Once the venue confirms it is holding your item, we collect it on your behalf, pack it and send it to your door.
How a return to the UK works

Confirm the venue holds it
Contact the airport, airline or hotel and ask them to confirm in writing that they have your item, with any reference they give you.

Send us the details
What the item is, which venue holds it, the reference, and your address in the United Kingdom.
- 03
Authorise the collection
We tell you what the venue needs and guide you through the written authorisation for our courier.
- 04
We collect and pack it
You see photos or a video of the item before we collect it; then we pack it for the journey.
- 05
Track it home
We hand it to DHL or UPS and send you the tracking. Delivery follows UK customs clearance.
How long it takes
Your item is handed to the carrier within one to three working days of collection. Transit is measured from dispatch to arrival at UK customs, for shipments leaving Istanbul.

UK customs
A return is a shipment into the United Kingdom, so the UK sets the rules at the border.
- It may need a customs declaration, and a parcel can be held for inspection.
- Any duties and import taxes are charged by the United Kingdom and are yours to pay.
- We cannot promise that an item will clear customs.
What we cannot send
Phones, tablets and laptops can be sent: we box, document and label their lithium batteries to aviation rules.
- Suitcases over 8 kg.
- Cigarettes, alcohol, illegal substances, cash, precious metals, any liquid, and anything else prohibited by IATA.
- Anything whose import or export may be restricted.
Passports, identity cards, bank cards and jewellery follow their own rules and are decided case by case.
What it costs
Our rates are published in full on the services page: collection is €60–€130, packing €5–€20, and there is a €60 minimum service fee.
The carrier's charge to the UK is quoted for your address, and your price is confirmed in writing before anything is collected. Nothing is paid before your item is collected.
