Service
Hotel & short-stay rental lost item pickup
Items left in a room are usually held by the property itself — a hotel’s housekeeping or front desk, or the host or manager of a short-stay rental such as an Airbnb listing. Once they confirm they have it, we coordinate the handover and return.
It depends on the property agreeing
A hotel or host is under no obligation to hand an item to a third party. Everything here depends on them confirming they hold the item and agreeing to release it to an authorised courier at an agreed time.
We coordinate that handover. We do not enter a property, and we do not attend without the property’s agreement.
Airbnb is named here only as a common example of a short-stay rental. We have no partnership, agency or official relationship with Airbnb or any other booking platform, and we do not act on their behalf.
What makes this go smoothly
A written confirmation
A message from the property saying it has the item, and describing it, avoids most of the delay.
The exact property
The hotel name and branch, or the rental’s address and the host’s contact — whoever physically holds the item.
An agreed handover time
Housekeeping stores and hosts both work to their own hours. Agreeing a window in advance avoids a wasted visit.
How the collection works
- 01
Confirm with the property
Tell us which property is holding the item and share their written confirmation. We verify the details with them directly.
- 02
Agree the handover
We agree who will release the item, when, and what they need from you in order to do so.
- 03
Collection and return
Our courier attends at the agreed time, we review the packing the item needs, confirm the price in writing and book the return.
Questions about this service
Who we are, and who we are not
Loyal Couriers is an independent service. We are not an airport, airline, hotel, booking platform or official lost-property authority, and we hold no official affiliation with any of them. We can only act once the venue holding your item has confirmed it and agreed to release it to an authorised courier.
